vThe act tells the story of an angel, a messenger between heaven and earth. He witnesses death and life, broken family bonds, rediscovered faith, and love beginning to blossom. He will never experience any of these things himself, yet he grieves and rejoices alongside humanity.

The act “Angel” is dedicated to my grandmother Elizabeth, whom I loved dearly and who holds a very special place in my heart.
She looked after me while my parents were working. She would fry potatoes cut into little slices and make dandelion crowns with me. During one of our last meetings, she gave me a little angel figurine she had brought back from Germany. That little angel became the inspiration for this act.
I perform “Angel” to music that was popular during my childhood. My angel represents rebirth, faith in the future, and the birth of something new.
